Inktober is an annual art challenge held in October, where artists around the world create one ink drawing per day for 31 days. It was started in 2009 by artist Jake Parker to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. Each day comes with a prompt word that artists can interpret creatively, though participation is flexible—some do all 31 days, while others choose a few. It's a fun and inspiring way for artists of all levels to practice and share their work using the hashtag #Inktober.
